Summary: The Microsoft Fabric Architect role involves leading the implementation of Microsoft Fabric as part of a significant data and analytics transformation for a financial services client. The position requires expertise in solution architecture and hands-on experience with various Azure Data Services. The architect will be responsible for designing and implementing an enterprise data and reporting platform using MS Fabric. This is a hybrid role based in London, with a contract duration of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the MS Fabric implementation for an enterprise data and reporting platform.
• Choose, design, and implement MS Fabric in a financial services organization.
• Provide solution architecture expertise.
• Demonstrate expertise in medallion architecture and Lakehouse data modeling.
• Utilize Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Synapse Analytics effectively.
• Develop strong data models at conceptual, logical, and physical levels.

Key Skills:

• Experience as a Fabric Consultant in a financial services context.
• Solution architecture experience.
• Proven experience as a Fabric Data Architect or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Synapse Analytics.
• Strong data modeling skills.
