Summary: The role of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations Business Analyst involves working with a leading organization in South Wales on a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract, focusing on analyzing and redesigning financial processes for integration into D365 F&O. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective solutions and a smooth go-live process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead workshops to gather business requirements and map current ('As-Is') and future-state ('To-Be') processes
- Design and document finance process solutions within D365 F&O, with particular focus on modules such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets and others
- Work collaboratively with implementation partners to configure and test solutions that meet business needs
- Produce user stories, functional specifications and test cases to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Key Skills:
- Strong finance and/or accounting background
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
- Ability to lead workshops and gather business requirements
- Proficient in designing and documenting finance process solutions
- Collaborative approach to working with implementation partners
- Experience in producing user stories and functional specifications

Robert Half Technology are currently working with a leading organisation based in South Wales that is embarking on a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) implementation. They're looking for an experienced Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations Business Analyst.
The role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, paying up to £65,000 per annum, including great company benefits.
The role will require you to be in the office as and when required in South Wales.
As the Finance Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing, mapping and redesigning financial processes for integration into D365 F&O. Working closely with both internal stakeholders and external implementation partners, you'll help ensure that solutions are fit-for-purpose and support a smooth, efficient go-live.
