Summary: HCL Technologies is seeking a Microsoft D365 CE Solution Architect for a 6-month contract in Luton, UK, with a hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional workshops with customers, documenting requirements and designing solutions.
  • Act as an interface/integration lead, managing integration workshops and documenting requirements.
  • Lead data migration workshops, documenting requirements and designing solutions.
  • Provide technical support during Dynamics 365 CRM implementations.
  • Write and review architecture documentation and create specifications for the project.
  • Design, develop, review, and test customized code for Dynamics 365 CRM.

Key Skills:

  • At least 5 end-to-end full life cycle implementations of Dynamics 365.
  • Expert knowledge of at least 4 Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration and Architecture patterns.
  • Familiarity with UML, BPMN, and ArchiMate.
  • Advanced organizational skills to manage multiple large projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.

HCL Technologies' Microsoft Business Applications Practice (MBAP) is currently hiring for a Microsoft D365 CE Solution Architect for a 6 month + contract assignment in the UK.

Microsoft D365 CE Solution Architect

Location : Luton, UK - (Hybrid / 2-3 days p/week on site in the first few months)

Duration : 6 months +

Start Date : ASAP

Rate: Market Rate - (Inside IR35)

The Dynamics 365 CRM Solution Architect carries the ultimate responsibility for meeting the customer requirements and completing the project. Comfortable in all aspects of delivery you should be capable of switching between leading customer facing functional workshops and a group of functional consultants, managing development teams (on and off-shore), and working with project and programme managers to effectively report on progress and risks and issues; to liaising with both internal and customer senior stakeholders – adjusting the approach and language as required for each interaction.

Essential Functions

  • Ability to act as a functional lead and able to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilities.
  • Leads functional workshops with customers, documents requirements and designs appropriate solutions.

  • Leads integration workshops with customers, documents requirements and designs appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to act as data migration lead and able to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as technical capabilities.

  • Act as development lead and able to demonstrate a wide range of development skills.
  • Be a strong advocate for adherence to standards and best practice.
  • Provide required technical support to our customers during Dynamics 365 CRM implementations working with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Architects on hybrid projects.
  • Write and review high level and detailed architecture documentation.
  • Create Solution, Functional and Technical Specifications documentation for the project.
  • Design, develop, review and test customized code for Dynamics 365 CRM.

Desired Skills

  • At least 5 end-to-end full life cycle implementations of Dynamics 365
  • Expert knowledge of at least 4 of the following modules, Sales, Service, Marketing, Social Engagement, USD, PSA, Field Service or Portals
  • Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Application Integration and Architecture patterns
  • Knowledge of UML, BPMN and ArchiMate desirable
  • Able to manage or lead multiple large projects (6-24 months) with advanced organizational skills
  • Up-to-date understanding of business processes, issues, and technology especially related to the operation of a sales, marketing, and customer service departments within an organization
  • Ability to balance short-term demands while maintaining the long-term vision needed to guide a customer through the implementation process
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio
