Summary: The role of Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer involves hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure environment, focusing on DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The position requires significant expertise in tools such as Terraform and PowerShell, along with a solid understanding of Azure services and ITIL best practices. The engineer will be responsible for implementing configurations, managing incidents, and providing support in a hybrid working environment. This contract position is expected to last for a minimum of three months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience with MS Azure environment with DevOps and IaC (Infrastructure as a Code)
- Implementing Microsoft Azure tenant-level configuration
- Significant experience of Terraform and PowerShell Scripting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Licensing
- Understanding of Active Directory & Active Directory Federation Services, AD Connect etc.
- Good working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and VNET etc.
- Servers' management using remote tools
- Certification like AZ-400 would be added advantage
- Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM best practices
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ITIL Processes - Change, Incident and Problem management
- Experience in handling Escalated issues including coordination with multiple teams and vendor
- Preparing the incident report/root cause analysis reports
- Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness
- Ability to communicate complex technical contents plainly and simply
- Good Hardware knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Excellent documentation skills for user training and technical documents
- Provide "on-call" support after business hours and during weekends
- Should be flexible with Multiple Shifts as and when required
- Should ready to work in shifts and out of hours (based on project requirement)
- Adhering to SLA/OLA
- Handling Tickets/Requests
- Handling severity incident, availability for on-call (on ROTA basis)

- Enterprise device provisioning, management, configuration, life-cycle management.
- Azure AD Administration, Policies (like Conditional Access, Single Sign-on etc.)

- Significant experience of Terraform as IaC.
- Significant experience of PowerShell Scripting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Licensing
- Understanding of Active Directory & Active Directory Federation Services, AD Connect etc.
- Should be well versed with Agile (JIRA Tool, Creating Stories)
- Expertise in troubleshooting issues reported by the end user.
- Manage, maintain, support, troubleshoot and optimize solutions presently in place while making suggestions and adjustments to future needs.
- Understanding of SSO and MFA technologies for SaaS applications.
- Understanding of Azure AD Connect and Azure AD directory service for managing cloud identity.
- Supporting Proof of Concept for new services/technologies. Deliver all services following ITIL methodology for Service Creation
