Summary: Celon is looking for a proactive Microsoft 365 Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in a 3rd line Microsoft 365 role for an initial 3-month fixed-term contract, which may extend. The role involves managing Microsoft 365 services, Azure infrastructure, and providing expert support and guidance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a commitment to continuous professional development. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement to support work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Office 365, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Manage and administer Entra ID, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams environments.
  • Manage Azure infrastructure including security and basic networking/firewall configurations.
  • Pick up and resolve incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work directly with users to diagnose and fix issues.
  • Feed into wider problem and change management processes to improve stability and service delivery.
  • Oversee patch management and updates for Microsoft and Windows Server environments.
  • Ensure systems remain compliant, secure, and up-to-date.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Identify, debug, and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Maintain compliance with information security policies and best practices.
  • Provide expert guidance on Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions.
  • Work collaboratively to optimise and improve infrastructure performance and security.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in infrastructure management and information security.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a 3rd line infrastructure engineer role.
  • Knowledge in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Proven experience in the management and administration of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration and patch management.
  • Strong background in incident resolution and contributing to problem and change management.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including Azure firewall management.
  • Knowledgeable in infrastructure monitoring tools and security processes.
  • Excellent communication, user-facing engagement, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with advanced security and compliance solutions in Microsoft 365

Please note: Salary and annual leave entitlement will be pro-rated to reflect the 3-month fixed-term contract duration.
