Summary: My client, a large consultancy, is seeking a Microsoft 365 Architect for a 6-month contract based in Sheffield. The role requires a combination of on-site and remote work, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote each week. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in Microsoft 365 solutions, particularly Exchange, and have strong skills in security solutions and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Microsoft 365 solutions, focusing on Exchange and hybrid configurations.
- Manage tenant-to-tenant migrations and divestiture projects.
- Utilize PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks.
- Ensure compliance with frameworks such as GDPR and data residency.
- Document processes and manage stakeholder communications effectively.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Solution Architect specializing in Microsoft 365 and Exchange.
- Expertise in Exchange Server (2013, 2016, 2019) and Exchange Online.
- Knowledge of Microsoft security solutions (Defender, Purview, Sentinel).
- Hands-on experience with migration tools (BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, AvePoint).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, data residency).
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Desirable Microsoft certifications: Identity and Access Administrator Associate/Messaging Administrator Associate.
- Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and Secure by Design principles.
