Summary: Jumar is seeking an experienced MI/Data Business Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract to support increased customer demand within their Business Analysis team. The role involves working onsite with a leading financial services client in Warwickshire, with a hybrid working arrangement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, SQL, and data visualization tools, contributing to business decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse, interpret, and present data to drive business decisions.
- Support MI workstreams/projects and collaborate with the BA team.
- Utilize SQL and data visualization tools to provide insights.
- Communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Engage in data modelling and database design as needed.
- Travel weekly to the client's head office in Warwickshire.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in data analysis/business intelligence.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python).
- Knowledge of Cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Software development background is ideal.
- Certification in data analytics or Business Intelligence is a plus.
