Summary: The Media Developer (Generalist) role involves creating high-quality training media content for courseware products, collaborating closely with the Instructional Design Team. The developer will take ownership of tasks, ensuring compliance with development plans and schedules. This role is essential for producing impactful training materials that meet specified standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop training media as identified by the Instructional Design Team against the specified style guide and/or standards.
- Take ownership of allocated tasks whilst monitoring their own progress, quality and performance, reporting as required and seeking assistance when necessary.
- Participate in and contribute to team discussions adopting and applying the direction given and complying with the required development processes.
- Ensure compliance and coherence with the development plan, schedule and supporting documentation.
- Utilise other toolsets as required and directed by the business (eg LCMS), in accordance with the directed and agreed approach.
Key Skills:
- Solid/Expert user of Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe Illustrator software tools.
- Be comfortable with development of 2D vector and raster based graphics.
- Intermediate ability as a minimum, of using Articulate Storyline 360 is also required.
- Be comfortable using technical and engineering source data to aid media development.
- Ideally have knowledge of developing technical training content for military material.
- Has a good understanding of how own activities integrate into the activities of a media development team.

MEDIA DEVELOPER (GENERALIST) CONTRACT
ROLE
A Media Developer (Generalist) will have the skills and ABILITY to support development of Customer Training electronic materials nominally media content for courseware products. This requires close working with the Instructional Design Team to translate the initial storyboard media into high-quality & impactful training media content. Y will need to be comfortable utilising engineering data and other technical references as part of the media development process. Development also requires strict adherence to a style guide and other associated standards to enable consistent media outputs.
AT THE COAL FACE/TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES
