Key Responsibilities:
- Support a variety of projects across the business.
- Develop Mechanical Designs using CAD modelling.
- Engage in design, testing, and certification processes.
- Support the global supply chain to sustain and improve manufacturing/supplier processes.
- Assemble and modify prototypes as needed.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical/Mechatronics (or equivalent with experience).
- Proven experience in complex mechanical/electrical systems.
- Competency in designing machined metal and sheet metal parts.
- Hands-on approach to design and testing.
- Experience in the power/utilities industry (desirable).
- Knowledge of Hydraulic/Pneumatic control Systems (desirable).
- Experience using FMEA, RCA, 8D tools (desirable).
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) (desirable).
- CAD experience - Solidworks and/or AutoCAD (desirable).
