Summary: The Mechanical Technician role in Culham, Didcot involves supervising mechanical fitters and maintaining various mechanical systems for a project under a Public Sector Authority. We are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Technician in Culham, Didcot for a great project, a contract inside IR 35, for 12+ months that is ran by a Public Sector Authority.
About the role:
- As a mechanical technician you would be expected to supervise mechanical fitters and other junior craft effort.
- Mechanical systems to include vacuum, cooling, pressurised and electro-magnetic.

Essential Experience
- Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Equivalent qualifications to those stated will be considered).
- Worked in an industrial setting, specifically mechanical assembly and maintenance
- Experience of vacuum systems and understanding of electrical work, would be desirable.
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques.
