Summary: As a Mechanical Supervisor at HMP Winchester, you will oversee the maintenance team, ensuring both planned and reactive maintenance tasks are executed effectively to support the prison's operational goals. Your role will involve staff management, tool inventory oversight, and adherence to security standards. This position requires a strong background in plumbing and related qualifications. You will also be responsible for conducting staff appraisals and providing performance feedback.

- Ensuring effective management of the tool inventory and upholding security standards within the work area
Key Skills:
- Must have qualifications such as C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and Heating), and NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, or equivalent
- Minimum of five years' experience in plumbing or a similar role
- Familiarity with Water Supply Regulations and Control of Legionella (L8) standards
- Experience working on commercial or industrial heating, water, or building services systems

The successful Mechanical Supervisor should possess the following:
- Must have qualifications such as C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and Heating), and NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, or equivalent
- Minimum of five years' experience in plumbing or a similar role

Due to the nature of the environment, you will be required to complete standard Security Vetting for the establishment.
