Summary: The role of Site Manager for Mechanical & Electrical operations involves overseeing a large workforce on a commercial site in Tooting, London. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate and supervise a team of approximately 30 operatives including plumbers, pipefitters and ductfitters
- Ensure all work is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standard
- Enforce and uphold site health & safety procedures throughout all works
- Conduct toolbox talks, inductions and briefings for site personnel
- Liaise with the client, main contractor and subcontractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Maintain accurate site records, RAMS compliance documentation and daily reports
Key Skills:
- SMSTS or SSSTS — valid and in-date (essential)
- Proven experience managing large M&E site teams
- Strong working knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practice
- Background in plumbing, pipefitting, ductfitting or related mechanical trades (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience working on live, occupied commercial sites preferred
- Right to work in the UK

The opportunity
We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a contract role on a large commercial site in Tooting, South London. This is a hands-on management position overseeing a sizeable mechanical and electrical workforce, requiring a confident leader who can keep operations running safely and efficiently from day one.
The contract runs for 2–3 months with weekend working available for those looking to maximise their earnings.

Working pattern
Monday to Friday, 07:30–15:30. Weekend shifts are available and may be required, providing excellent additional earning potential for the right candidate.
