We are looking for individuals with proven experience working on large-scale pharmaceutical and data centre projects as these are key sectors that you will be getting involved with day-to-day. From design stage to installation and the ongoing maintenance of facilities, this company prioritise an efficient, reliable, firs class service. RoleYou will be joining an experienced team, in a pre-dominantly office based role, and be responsible for developing and delivering mechanical designs to facilitate safe and compliant installations on site.Designing in conjunction with fire strategy reports, local building regulations & planning authority requirements.Attending Design team meetings.Carrying out site surveys of existing installations where applicable.Producing heating/cooling (thermal modelling) and ventilation load calculations using industry softwareSizing and selection of AHUs, FCUs, extract fans, pumps, chillers, ASHP, boilers, plate heat exchangers etcProducing above ground drainage calculations and sizing of drainage systemsSizing and selection of domestic hot and cold-water equipment (heaters, storage tanks etc)Producing pipe and duct sizing calculations using industry software or other desktop spreadsheetsSizing and selection of firefighting sprinkler and pumping systems (preferred but not essential)Producing stage reports & presentations.Preparing Designers Risk Assessment and Mitigation ReportsDetailing mechanical layouts & schematics for build.Meeting project delivery deadlines.Production of detailed design and survey reports.QualificationsExtensive experience in the Mechanical Engineering building services for constructionMechanical Engineering Degree or equivalentGood knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS &EN Irish, UK standards or ASHRAE.Working knowledge of design software such as Hevacomp, Carrier HAP, CyMap, IES/TAS requiredAbility to work in a rapidly changing environment.Strong communication skillsBenefits 40k- 65k (DOE)Professional development supportEmployee assistance programHealth and wellness programsPensionBike to work scheme Morgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
