Mechanical QA Finishing Manager

Summary: The Mechanical QA Finishing Manager role involves overseeing quality control on a commercial project in West London. The position requires inspecting completed work, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timely resolution of client and consultant snags. The manager will also prepare performance reports and support commissioning and handover processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to design.
• Complete QA documentation including mark ups, snag sheets and installation checklists.
• Compile with sub-contractors QA and issue to main contractor for inspection.
• Ensure close out of any client and consultant snags in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and testing activities.
• Prepare reports on MEP performance, issues, and corrective actions.
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover documentation.

Key Skills:

• City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting or equivalent.
• CSCS Skill Card.
• SSSTS/SMSTS.
• Good literacy skills.
• Previous experience in a Mechanical QA Supervisory/Management role.
• Previous experience of working on commercial projects.
