Mechanical Project Manager – Contract
Location: London
Rate: £300–£350 per day, depending on experience
Duration: 8 months
Key Responsibilities
- Managing mechanical and sprinkler projects from commencement through to completion
- Overseeing mechanical and sprinkler installation works and site activities
- Managing subcontractors, engineers and site teams
- Planning and coordinating project programmes
- Monitoring project progress, costs and delivery
- Liaising with clients, main contractors and other trades
- Attending site meetings and providing project updates
- Managing project documentation and reporting
- Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality and specification
- Ensuring health and safety requirements are maintained
- Identifying and resolving project issues
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
- Experience managing sprinkler installation projects from start to completion
- Good understanding of sprinkler systems and mechanical building services
- Experience managing subcontractors, engineers and site teams
- Experience managing project programmes, costs and budgets
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety requirements
