Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all mechanical aspects of projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
- Attend project start-up meetings
- Collate and manage technical submittals
- Oversee labour management
- Prepare and update weekly progress reports, managing any changes or variations
- Liaise with main contractors, subcontractors, and client site teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Coordinate procurement, delivery, and installation of all mechanical plant and equipment
- Ensure materials and resources are available to meet project timelines
- Implement and manage construction and commissioning programmes
- Oversee handover documentation and maintain the project document management system
- Attend site and subcontractor meetings, ensuring all actions are completed
- Identify and communicate any project innovations or improvements
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a similar leadership role
- Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale building services projects
- Qualification in Construction or Project Management (preferred)
- Strong people management and team supervision experience
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
