Salary: 400 - 500 per day

Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Mechanical Project Manager to join our team on either a permanent or long-term contract basis. This role is for a leading Tier One M&E subcontractor, specialising in large-scale commercial projects in the heart of London City and West End. The company has a strong pipeline with just under 60 million worth of secured projects for 2025, offering significant growth and career development opportunities.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead and manage the mechanical aspects of large commercial projects from pre-construction through to completion.

  • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day activities of the mechanical teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring delivery within scope and on schedule.

  • Manage project risks, implement mitigation plans, and provide solutions to any issues that arise on-site.

  • Liaise with the client, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes.

  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, progress updates, and change orders.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

  • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment across all project teams.



Requirements:




  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E sector, ideally on large commercial projects.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and services (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent certifications (desirable).
