Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the site team and subcontractors to ensure top safety standards and overall project performance.
  • Build and manage a competent team, overseeing development, performance, and motivation.
  • Oversee all project phases including design, procurement, manufacture, and installation, ensuring smooth coordination on and off site.
  • Chair key meetings, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and provide clear, timely reporting.
  • Support procurement, manage third-party involvement, and resolve issues efficiently to meet project objectives.

Key Skills:

  • Relevant CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher (e.g., Site Supervision, ONC, HNC).
  • Experience managing construction sites, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of RAMS and CDM regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in Clean and Wastewater operations (Water Utility companies) - desirable.
  • Familiarity with NEC contract management - desirable.
  • Ability to read construction programmes and provide updates - desirable.

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy, in a contract position, outside IR35. You will be required to full time on site in North Wales. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting water treatment projects, with a motivating team.

-£400-450 a day, depending on experience.
