Summary: The Mechanical Planner & Execution Lead is responsible for managing maintenance planning and execution activities on-site in Fife. This role involves developing detailed job plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring effective management of materials for maintenance tasks. The position requires a strong focus on safety and efficiency in executing maintenance activities while adhering to industry standards. This is a full-time, temporary contract position requiring DBS checks and drug & alcohol tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of all notifications within the area of responsibility.
  • Field scoping of reported defects for planning maintenance repairs.
  • Development of detailed job plans and labour estimates for maintenance activities.
  • Management of materials required for planned maintenance, including BoM generation.
  • Coordination with onsite and offsite resources, including third-party suppliers.
  • Development of job packages with clear details for execution teams.
  • Providing detailed cost estimates for planned maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring all maintenance work orders are ready prior to scheduling.

Key Skills:

  • Trade experience in piping or mechanical fields.
  • Field scoping experience.
  • Knowledge of industry piping standards and materials.
  • Execution experience in maintenance planning.
  • Understanding of standard flange make-up procedures.
  • General understanding of field piping arrangements and quality processes.
  • 2-3 years' experience in planning within a source system.
  • Understanding of localised GRS 6DE processes and contracting strategies.
  • Ability to work with site scheduling to ensure resource alignment.

Salary (Rate): 80800.00
