Summary: The Mechanical Modifications Technician role involves working at a modern Rolling Stock production facility, focusing on implementing modifications for the new London Underground Stock. Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out mechanical and interior pre-sale modifications including underframe work
- Recording work via internal IT systems
- Carry out inspections and checks to ensure fleet reliability
- Identify improvements and feedback into team leader
- Advise and rectify any defects that are found
Key Skills:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in a Mechanical/Engineering discipline
- Minimum 2 years Mechanical Rolling Stock Modifications experience

Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri 06:30 - 14:30 / 14:30 - 22:30 rotating weekly

Position Summary:
Working at a modern Rolling Stock production facility you who will initially be engaged for the implementation of a suite of modifications for the new London Underground Stock.
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out mechanical and interior pre-sale modifications including underframe work
- Recording work via internal IT systems
- Carry out inspections and checks to ensure fleet reliability
- Identify improvements and feedback into team leader
- Advise and rectify any defects that are found
Qualifications / Education required:
- Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in a Mechanical/Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years Mechanical Rolling Stock Modifications experience
