Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Summary: The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role involves providing mobile mechanical maintenance services across various sites in the Southampton and Portsmouth regions. Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive servicing, and repairs on mechanical plant and equipment.
• Performing basic plumbing, water treatment, and maintenance on compressors, pumps, and fan coil units.
• Conducting fault-finding, servicing, and repair work.
• Maintaining emergency lighting and performing lamping tasks.
• Keeping up-to-date records of all work carried out on plant and equipment.
• Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Skills:

• Experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
• City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Legionella awareness is advantageous.
• IPAF certification.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
