Summary: The Mechanical HVAC Engineer role is available at both Senior and Principal levels, focusing on candidates with extensive experience in the Nuclear or other highly regulated industries. The position is hybrid, requiring two days a week in the office, and is classified as outside IR35. Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience and relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce mechanical documentation for HVAC systems.
- Work on projects within the Nuclear or other highly regulated industries such as Defence, Oil and Gas, or Pharmaceuticals.
- Conduct risk analysis using tools like HAZOP and HAZID.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
- Experience in Nuclear or highly regulated industries.
- Proficient in mechanical documentation production.
- Minimum HNC qualification; HND is advantageous.
- Familiarity with HVAC design and documentation.
