Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in mechanical installation activities within a site team.
  • Report to the Site Supervisor or chargehand as required.
  • Ensure personal and team safety at all times on site.
  • Follow applicable procedures as outlined in the site induction.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Site Supervisor to meet quality standards.
  • Operate within set timescales and communicate potential deviations.
  • Adhere to site rules and comply with Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality Plans.
  • Participate in completing all task cards and comply with timesheet and expense submission deadlines.

Key Skills:

  • Apprentice trained with C&G Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience or 2 years in a relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environmental legislation.
  • CSCS/CCNSG Safety Passport certification.
  • Manual Handling and Working at Height training.
  • Fire safety awareness.
  • Client-specific qualifications (e.g., SSE, Scottish Power/NG Person BESC).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
