Mechanical Estimator - Building Services

Summary: The Mechanical Estimator role involves working on a variety of building services projects across the UK, including office fit-outs and decarbonisation schemes. The position requires solid experience in mechanical estimating, with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and drainage. Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate costs for projects ranging from £5k to £2m in various sectors including public sector, healthcare, education, and leisure.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and clients, including work on MOD sites.
• Utilize in-house spreadsheet-based tools for estimating from preliminary designs.
• Work on Design & Build projects, understanding the journey from concept to cost.
• Hit the ground running with minimal training required.

• Solid experience in mechanical estimating, specifically in HVAC, plumbing, and drainage.
• Ability to interpret preliminary designs and create accurate estimates.
