Job Role
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons in engineering, including CAD, manufacturing support, machining, and maintenance & operations.
- Support students on Level 2 Extended Technical Diploma programmes and Level 3 National/Extended Diplomas.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and provide timely feedback to students.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of course content across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Monitor and report on student progress, attendance, and engagement.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent preferred).
- Strong knowledge and experience in engineering
- Experience teaching Level 2 and Level 3- CAD, Machining, Maintenance, Metal Fabrication
- Ability to engage and motivate learners with diverse backgrounds.
- Flexible approach to teaching and ability to adapt to changing schedules.
