What You Would Do
- Developing and refining mechanical designs using CAD software and engineering principles
- Conducting feasibility studies and technical analysis to support design decisions
- Collaborating with product, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure designs are cost-effective and producible
- Creating detailed design documentation, drawings and specifications for manufacturing
- Supporting the transition of designs from concept through to production
- Participating in design reviews and contributing technical expertise to solve engineering challenges
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and regulatory requirements
What You Could Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience in mechanical design and development
- Proficiency with CAD software and standard engineering tools
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials and manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
