Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee design, specification, and project delivery of mechanical installations.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.
  • Conduct site inspections, fault-finding, and compliance checks.
  • Act as a technical advisor, liaising with stakeholders, residents, and contractors.
  • Lead on procurement, contract management, and cost control.
  • Stay up to date with building regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices.
  • Supervise junior staff and provide guidance on technical issues.
  • Review tenders, specifications, and contractor performance.

Key Skills:

  • Degree or HND in Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical installations, heating systems, and low-carbon solutions.
  • Experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
  • Ability to write technical reports and oversee contract administration.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with statutory regulations, codes of practice, and British Standards.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance may be required.
