Summary: The Mechanical Engineer role is a contract position based in Norwich or Nottingham, offering a hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize at least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer with a strong understanding of industry standards, engineering calculations, documentation, and design.
  • Understand and produce various documentation including BOMs, P&IDs, IOMs, and Functional Design specifications.
  • Support project delivery through schedule, budget, scope, and risk management activities.
  • Design mechanical solutions for fire suppression and production systems including CAFS, inert gas systems, HPUs, and chemical injection packages.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and engineering calculations.
  • Experience with documentation such as BOMs, P&IDs, IOMs, and Functional Design specifications.
  • Project delivery experience including schedule, budget, scope, and risk management.
  • Design experience in mechanical solutions for fire suppression and production systems.

Salary (Rate): £42 hourly
