Mechanical Engineer - 12 Month Contract

Do you have experience taking projects from front-end studies through to commissioning?

What will you be doing?
- Supporting mechanical engineering activities across the full project lifecycle
- Delivering front-end engineering studies and concept designs
- Producing detailed mechanical design documentation
- Supporting HAZOPs and other safety reviews
- Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Supporting commissioning and on-site activities when required
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Supporting equipment specification, layout reviews and technical calculations
Where will you be doing it?
You'll be joining a well-established engineering business delivering complex projects within highly regulated industrial environments.
Their teams work on technically demanding projects covering everything from early-stage studies through to full delivery and commissioning.
What you'll need:
- Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer within industrial or process environments
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from FEED/concept through to commissioning
- Experience supporting or participating in HAZOP studies
- Experience producing mechanical design documentation
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, valves, pumps and associated equipment
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
