Summary: The M&E Engineering Manager will lead and manage all mechanical and electrical operations across a diverse estate, ensuring compliance and high-quality service delivery. This role involves overseeing contractors, managing energy efficiency initiatives, and supporting various events with reliable building services. The position is hands-on and central to the estate's safety and performance. Strong experience in managing M&E systems and compliance is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all M&E operations and compliance across a variety of building types.
- Manage PPM, statutory inspections, reactive repairs and lifecycle works.
- Oversee contractors and projects, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery with minimal disruption.
- Monitor energy use and drive efficiency and carbon-reduction initiatives.
- Support events, exhibitions and commercial hires with reliable, resilient building services.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience managing M&E systems across a multi-building estate.
- Excellent knowledge of statutory compliance, H&S and building services (HVAC, electrical, BMS, water, fire, etc.).
- Proven contractor and project management skills, with a focus on value for money.
- Clear, confident communication and a practical, problem-solving mindset.
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification.
