Mechanical/Electrical Building Services Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical building services equipment, such as HVAC systems, lighting, and plumbing.
• Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure that all work is completed to the required standard.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the smooth operation of building services equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot problems, and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A City & Guilds or HNC qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in supervising building services projects in commercial and residential buildings.
• Knowledge of all types of building services equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and lighting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
