Summary: The Mechanical Designer role involves utilizing the SL drawing management system to deliver work packages across various mechanical handling, process, and lifting tasks for three SEP Machines. The position is based in Warrington, Cheshire, and requires proficiency in AUTOCAD and the ability to produce detailed mechanical design drawings. Strong communication skills and knowledge of engineering drawing standards are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the SL drawing management system to deliver work packages.
• Produce mechanical design drawings from concept to detail in line with manufacturing tasks.
• Implement drawing modifications or creation based on Engineers' instructions or marked-up drawings.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawing standards relevant to production.
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in AUTOCAD.
• Experience in producing mechanical design drawings.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of engineering drawing standards (e.g., BS 8888 & GPS).
• Experience in applying engineering judgement to design (desirable).
• Knowledge of SL drawing requirements and drawing management system (Cimage) (desirable).
