Mechanical Design Engineer (Ventilation/LEV)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer LEV and industrial ventilation systems.
• Provide technical advice on extraction and air movement solutions.
• Conduct site assessments and identify ventilation requirements.
• Produce system specifications, calculations, and design documentation.
• Advise customers on compliance and best practice.
• Support projects from initial concept through to implementation.

Requirements

• Background in Mechanical, HVAC, Ventilation, or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience designing ventilation or LEV systems.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and provide practical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, Apprenticeship, or equivalent).

Desirable

• Knowledge of COSHH and LEV regulations.
• Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or process environments.
• AutoCAD or similar design software experience.
