What You'll Be Doing as Mechanical Design Engineer Powertrain
- Designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies for advanced powertrain systems
- Creating 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings using NX
- Supporting concept generation, design reviews, validation and product release activities
- Performing engineering calculations and analysis to support design decisions
- Working closely with manufacturing, test and development teams to resolve technical challenges
- Ensuring designs meet performance, reliability and manufacturability requirements
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of existing and future products
What We're Looking For
- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer or equivalent experience
- Strong product development background within complex mechanical systems
- Experience designing powertrain, drivetrain, transmission, hydraulic or similar mechanical systems
- Proficiency in CAD, ideally Siemens NX
- Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack analysis
- Practical engineering mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams
