We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineers with strong NX experience to support a major rotating-equipment programme.
You’ll work on complex gearbox and rotating-equipment assemblies, producing high-quality 3D models, 2D drawings and manufacturing-ready documentation.
- NX modelling — 3D modelling, assemblies, surfacing.
- Manufacturing drawings — GD&T, tolerances, fits, limits.
- Rotating-equipment components — shafts, bearings, casings, housings, machined parts.
- Teamcenter workflows — part release, revision control, configuration management.
- Cross-functional collaboration — work closely with stress, systems, production test and quality teams.
- Onsite engineering support — hands-on design reviews and problem solving.

- Solid understanding of GD&T, tolerances, fits and manufacturing feasibility
- Experience using Teamcenter or similar PLM systems
- Ability to work onsite in Wolverhampton (hybrid available once embedded)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience with gearbox housings, shafts, bearing arrangements or precision machined components
