Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and mentoring a team of mechanical and electronic engineers
- Managing multiple design projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Creating detailed designs using SolidWorks
- Conducting feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, and validation of new and existing designs
- Collaborating with production, software, quality, and aftersales teams to ensure seamless integration
- Staying current with industry standards and ensuring compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting progress to senior stakeholders
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years experience within mechanical design
- Proven experience in bespoke machine design and project delivery
- Exposure to injection mould and tool design
- Experience using SolidWorks
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
