Key Responsibilities:

• Design and development of packaging & mounting arrangements for COTS
• Design of electro-mechanical assemblies
• Producing part & GA drawings
• Conducting peer reviews
• Designing for manufacture review
• Routing cables in 3D CAD
• Producing cable/harness assemblies and drawings

Key Skills:

• Qualification in mechanical engineering
• Experience as a mechanical design engineer
• Proficiency with 3D CAD packages such as Siemens NX or Solidworks
• Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices
• Experience of designing sheet metal, machined parts and assemblies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
