Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design of mechanisms, kinematics, and linkages
- 3D CAD design and detailing using SolidWorks
- Development of mechatronic and automated systems
- Integration of actuators, motion control components, and sensors
- Supporting prototyping and proof-of-concept builds
- Applying DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles
- Working closely with manufacturing and cross-disciplinary engineering teams
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
- Strong background in mechanisms and mechanical systems
- Solid SolidWorks CAD experience (assemblies and drawings)
- Experience with automation, mechatronics, or motion control systems
- Knowledge of actuators, sensors, and motion components
- Experience with DFM, prototyping, and concept development
- Ability to work autonomously in a contract environment
