Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative design solutions based on requirements specifications and design briefs.
• Utilize CREO Parametric CAD to create concept and detailed designs.
• Produce supporting calculations and analysis to justify design decisions.
• Collaborate with SMEs, Users, and Design Authorities to develop concept design solutions.
• Work with a team of Design Engineers to create a cohesive sub-system design solution.
• Coordinate with CAD engineers for the production of drawings and design data packs.
• Create and present Design Review data packs to Senior Engineers and Governors.
• Assist in prototype production and confirm designs with manufacturing/purchasing teams.
• Conduct physical testing and design proving activities on engineering prototypes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety legislation for components and assemblies.

• Proven experience in mechanical product design and development.
