Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the existing team of mechanical design engineers.
Key Skills:
- Experience using Solidworks or similar 3D design package.
- Background as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Designer, Draughtsman, CAD Technician, or REVIT Technician.
- Experience in mechanical commercial building services.
- HNC or higher in Building Services Engineering or similar.

Mechanical Design Engineer - Building Services
Mechanical Design Engineer is required to join a design and build contractor. A background in mechanical building services design from a Mechanical Contractor or Building Services Consultancy background is required.
Contract role
£37.5ph - £43.75ph (£300-£350 per day)
We require someone to hit the ground running so only able to accept applications from local individuals with mechanical design experience in building services or HVAC.
The Role
You will be a valued addition to the existing team of busy mechanical design engineers
- Production of Solidworks 3D models from initial conceptual designs, pipework, HVAC equipment arrangement
- Preparation of 2D Auto CAD and 3D drawings
Hours: 38-40 hours, early finish on Fridays
You
Ideally highly experienced using Solidworks or similar 3D design package
An experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, Designer, Draughtsman, CAD Technician, REVIT Technician
Likely to have worked in an M&E Contractor or Building Services Consultancy
Experience of mechanical commercial building services is required
HNC or higher in Building Services Engineering or similar ideally.
This is a contract role with the possibility of moving to permanent. Initial 6 month contract, likely to extend or go permanent. Inside IR35.
