Key Responsibilities:

• Produce Mechanical and Piping designs for various engineering projects.
• Carry out design activities independently within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Participate in internal and external design reviews.
• Interpret engineering line diagrams and develop them into engineering designs.
• Identify changes to design scope and report to the Project Design Lead.
• Drive quality in engineering designs and check discipline design deliverables.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Assist in the delivery of site surveys and production of site survey reports.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure correct deliverables.

Key Skills:

• More than 5 years of experience as an M&P designer in relevant sectors.
• Deep knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D or similar design software.
• Sound knowledge of M&P engineering and design principles.
• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Experience with laser scanning of sites (preferred).
• Proficient in producing 3D models, GA drawings, and piping isometrics.
• Experienced with AutoCAD 3D, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office packages.
• Understanding of British/European and international standards such as ASME.
