Summary: The Maximo Tester role involves validating IBM Maximo implementations through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality meets business requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, regression, and UAT testing on IBM Maximo applications (preferably version 7.6 or MAS 8/9).
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track and manage defects using tools like Jira, and ensure timely resolution.
- Support end-user testing, provide guidance, and document feedback.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC and testing standards.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in IBM Maximo testing (functional and UAT).
- Strong understanding of UAT processes, test planning, and execution.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, ALM).
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, SoapUI) is a plus.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
