Summary: The Maximo Solution Architect is responsible for providing architectural leadership in the design and development of the IBM EAM solution for enterprises. This role involves translating complex business problems into technology solutions, coordinating systems integration designs, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and IT strategies. The architect will also create documentation and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring a smooth transition into production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide architectural leadership on the design and development of the IBM EAM solution.
- Translate complex business problems into technology solutions using IBM Maximo services components.
- Coordinate and develop systems integration designs, including high-level and detailed diagrams.
- Align technology solutions with technical architecture, operational processes, and lifecycle processes.
- Create EAM solution architecture documentation and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure project infrastructure is supportable and can transition smoothly into production support.
Key Skills:
- 12+ years of experience in implementing the IBM Maximo product suite.
- 5+ years of experience as a technical architect on IBM Maximo EAM projects.
- Experience building integrations using web services/APIs; REST and/or SOAP.
- Knowledge of IBM Maximo work management and supply chain management functions.
- Technical knowledge in installation, configuration, and customization of IBM Maximo solutions.
- Experience with Oracle 11g/12g or SQL Server 2012 and above.

Roles & Responsibilities
Provides architectural leadership on the design and development of the IBM EAM solution for the enterprise. Drives the translation of the business client's complex business problems into the selected technology solutions by designing complete solutions that leverage IBM Maximo services components. Coordinates and develops systems integration designs for the project, including high-level and detailed system, application, and technology diagrams. Aligns the selected technology solutions with the technical architecture, operational processes and lifecycle processes. Ensures that the EAM IT solution fits with the current and planned enterprise architecture and standards as well as IT strategies and IT product roadmaps. Creates EAM solution architecture documentation and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle of the solutions. Ensures that the project infrastructure is supportable and can be transitioned smoothly into production support organizations.
Relevant Experience:
Over 12+ years of experience in implementing the IBM Maximo product suite. Over 5+ years of experience working as a technical architect delivering on the IBM Maximo EAM project Experience of building Integration using web services/APIs; REST and/or SOAP and integrating with SAP, Oracle etc. Worked on at least 3 business transformation programs as Maximo Delivery Lead / Solution Architect Must have knowledge in IBM Maximo work management and supply chain management functions Technical knowledge in the Installation / Configuration /Customization of the IBM Maximo solution and Actuate / BIRT reports Sound experience in Oracle 11g/12g or SQL Server 2012 and above
