Summary: The Maximo Functional Consultant role is a contract position based in Manchester, UK, focusing on leading Asset Management initiatives for a large travel organization. The consultant will be responsible for the functional design, configuration, and delivery of Maximo EAM solutions, engaging with stakeholders throughout the process. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional and technical knowledge of IBM Maximo EAM, particularly in asset, work, and inventory management. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Asset Management initiatives for a large travel organization.
- Own Maximo EAM functional design, configuration, and solution delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose solutions.
- Design and configure Maximo using Application Designer, Workflow Configuration, and Database Configuration.
- Integrate Maximo with third-party systems.
- Configure and deploy Maximo Mobile solutions.
- Work independently and take ownership of initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Strong functional knowledge of IBM Maximo EAM, including Asset, Work, and Inventory Management.
- Hands-on experience with Maximo Application Designer, Workflow Configuration, and Database Configuration.
- Experience integrating Maximo with third-party systems.
- Proven experience with Maximo Mobile configuration and deployment.
- Excellent communication skills for customer engagement and issue resolution.
- Self-driven and proactive with leadership capabilities.
- Desirable: Experience in airport or travel-sector organizations.
