Summary: The Materials Expeditor role in Crewe involves managing supply chain relationships to ensure timely and budget-compliant material deliveries. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of supplier performance.
- Performance reviews with supply chain.
- Monitoring inventory.
- Validation of material demands.
- Expedite material deliveries to ensure OTD targets are met.
- Maintain an inventory database.
- Stock management in line with requirements of production.
- PO and invoicing negotiations.
- Reporting on KPI's.
- Materials control.
Key Skills:
- Supply chain experience is preferred but not essential.
- Inventory management experience.
- Good understanding of materials management.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of database systems such as SAP.
- Good analytical skills.
- Competent on Excel at Intermediate level.
- Experience of LEAN principles (5's, Kaisen, CI, Visualisation Management).
