Summary: The Martech Manager - App will oversee the App Marketing technology and media stack for a global retailer, focusing on driving growth for iOS and Android apps both in the UK and internationally. This high-impact role requires collaboration with the Performance Marketing team and App Product Owners to optimize app media strategies. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract, emphasizing the importance of technical expertise and strategic thinking in app marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing app tracking frameworks and ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the App Marketing Technology stack, including MMPs and deep-linking solutions.
- Design, develop, and manage app tracking frameworks to improve attribution and campaign performance.
- Lead changes to data structures and taxonomies within the MMP for accurate measurement.
- Partner with marketing teams to implement stack improvements for stronger commercial outcomes.
- Manage App Signal Health with a focus on SKAdNetwork and privacy-first measurement.
- Oversee SDK and server-to-server integrations with key media partners.
- Work closely with technical and development teams to prioritize and deliver change requests.
- Continuously evaluate the app marketing landscape and recommend new tools and partnerships.
- Collaborate with Information Security to ensure secure audience and data processes.
Key Skills:
- Deep knowledge of the App Marketing Technology and App Media Strategy landscape.
- Proven experience with a Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) such as Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch, or Kochava.
- Experience with app analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience with mobile SDK integrations, deep linking, and in-app event configuration.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Confidence working across marketing, product, and IT teams.
- A passion for sharing knowledge and upskilling others in app marketing technology.

This role will be responsible for driving growth across the iOS and Android apps in the UK and internationally. You’ll be a key member of the Performance Marketing team , acting as the vital link between Marketing and the App Product Owners. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape how the business activates, measures, and optimises app media at scale - helping the business to unlock the full potential of the mobile ecosystem. Note: This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Role
You’ll be the go-to expert for all things app marketing technology and app media strategy. You will:
- Own and evolve the App Marketing Technology stack , including MMPs and deep-linking solutions
- Design, develop, and manage app tracking frameworks (in-app events, deep linking, deferred deep linking) to improve attribution and campaign performance
- Lead changes to data structures and taxonomies within the MMP to ensure accurate, privacy-compliant measurement
- Partner with marketing teams to define and implement stack improvements that drive stronger commercial outcomes
- Manage App Signal Health , with a strong focus on SKAdNetwork and privacy-first measurement
- Oversee SDK and server-to-server integrations with key media partners such as Google UAC, Meta, and TikTok
- Work closely with technical and development teams to prioritise and deliver change requests
- Continuously evaluate the app marketing landscape, recommending new tools, technologies, and partnerships
- Collaborate with Information Security to ensure secure and compliant audience and data processes across ad platforms
About You
You’ll bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and stakeholder confidence. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Deep knowledge of the App Marketing Technology and App Media Strategy landscape
- Proven experience working with a Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) such as Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch, or Kochava
