Summary: Our client is looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist (Paid Social) to join their Performance Marketing team on a 5-month contract. The role involves planning, activating, and optimizing paid social media campaigns across various platforms to drive measurable business outcomes. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement, with three days a week in the London office. Candidates should have a strong background in performance marketing and experience with multiple social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Good understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn) and their respective advertising ecosystems.
- Proven experience in planning, executing, and optimising paid social media campaigns.
- Experience with LINE is preferred.
- German language skills are preferred.
- Manage and execute multiple ad campaigns including, but not limited to, audience research, account setup, campaign configuration and implementation.
- Analyse data and metrics to create weekly and monthly reports on traffic, user engagement, and conversion.
- Define and run tests, including A/B experiments to test new vendor features and/or inform new product development.
- Achieve targeted performance KPIs, including optimisations and campaign troubleshooting.
- Reviewing paid social activation requests from automation tools, campaign managers, and media planners.
- Activating and deactivating campaigns as needed.
- Optimising campaigns.
- Supporting weekly reporting for Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Attending daily pacing calls to ensure alignment with wider teams.
Key Skills:
- Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, drive rationale, discover root causes, and identify opportunities.
- Experience in a paid social marketing role.
- 4+ years of professional (non-internship) marketing experience.
- Strong experience using most of the following paid media management tools: Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
- Good experience with Paid Social managing acquisition marketing campaigns in industries such as: media & entertainment, recruitment marketing, e-commerce, B2B, or agency.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate business information into actionable insights.
- Ability to articulate trade-offs, explain complex issues, and communicate plans to senior executives.
- Strong time-management skills: ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, making the necessary trade-offs among customer experience, scope, and time to market.
