Summary: The role of Product Manager at a leading FMCG manufacturer involves overseeing a selection of brands and their products on a 12-month fixed-term basis. The position requires managing the product lifecycle from NPD through to market launch, while aligning marketing strategies with brand vision. The role is hybrid, allowing for two days of home working from the office in Camberley. The successful candidate will leverage commercial experience in product management to drive brand growth and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage products from NPD through the stage and gate process.
- Drive and support the brand's long-term direction and marketing strategies.
- Launch new products rooted in insights and ensure alignment with brand vision.
- Report monthly on budgeted sales and ensure delivery of annual plans.
- Deliver the Commercial Plan for the relevant product portfolio.
- Manage the product portfolio, including formulations, packaging, and regulatory support.
- Work with the communications team to deliver successful product communications.
- Execute projects through the NPD stage & gate process.
Key Skills:
- Previous commercial experience in Product Management.
- Experience in a consumer goods business (B2C).
- Knowledge of the marketing mix, particularly Brand Management and NPD.
- Demonstrated commercial skills and broad business knowledge.
- Experience in launching new products and working cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage SKU, forecasting, and retailer relationships.
