Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop customer acquisition programmes focused on User Centred Design and Digital Transformation.
- Communicate with target audiences to build understanding and recognition of UCD capacity and training.
- Implement marketing campaigns including advertising, direct marketing, digital, and media relations.
- Work with creative agencies to design marketing materials promoting NEC Digital.
- Write and proofread marketing copy and produce creative content.
- Oversee content creation for social media channels focused on NEC Digital UCD and training.
- Organise and attend events such as conferences and exhibitions.
- Conduct market research using customer questionnaires and focus groups.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Support the development and implementation of a communications strategy for NECSWS.
- Manage stakeholders' expectations and track marketing performance.
- Monitor and report on competitor activity and manage external agencies for events and promotional materials.
Key Skills:
- Public Sector Marketing experience, particularly in Health and Justice and/or Technology.
- Demonstrable experience as a senior marketing manager.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of B2B lead generation techniques.
- Proven success in improving ROI.

Support the NEC Digital Studio business and the wider NEC SWS brand in customer acquisition and retention including within Health and Public Sector Digital Transformation
As a Marketing Manager, you'll need to:
- Create and develop customer acquisition programmes with a focus on User Centred Design and Digital Transformation across public sector organisations – including Health, Justice and Central Government
- Communicate with target audiences and build and develop clear understanding and recognition UCD capacity and training.
- Implement with marketing campaigns including advertising, direct marketing, digital and media relations to drive new business and client retention for NEC.
- Work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts to promote NEC Digital, including training, service design and user centred research
- Write and proofread marketing copy
- Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
- Oversee content creation for NEC Digital UCD and training focussed social media channels
- Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions
- Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
- Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
And with support, you'll need to:
- Support the development and implementation of a communications strategy for wider NECSWS with a particular focus on Health and Justice activities
- Manage stakeholders' expectations
- Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare monthly reports for management
- Monitor and report on competitor activity lead external agencies, when appropriate, to effectively manage events, press relationships, editorial requests, presentations, promotional materials and online activities
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Have the ability to ‘hit the ground running’
- Public Sector Marketing experience – in particular Health and Justice and/or Technology
- Demonstrable expereince as a senior marketing manager
- Be flexible and adaptable to change - worked in a fast paced environment
- Experience of B2B lead generation techniques
- Demonstrates success, at improving ROI
- Self-starter – ability to take ownership
- Able to manage stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent communicator
