Summary: The Barbican Centre is looking for a Marketing Insight/Data Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This hybrid role involves supporting the marketing team through data analysis of campaigns and audience behavior, developing automated data products, and translating business requirements into actionable insights. The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders and utilize various analytical techniques to enhance marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dynamic support for the marketing team through data analysis of campaigns and audience behavior.
- Conduct deep analysis including data segmentation, effectiveness reporting, trend analysis, and customer profiling.
- Translate business requirements into analysis tasks and develop automated data products such as Power BI dashboards.
- Participate in Agile sprints and document work through the Jira board.
- Meet regularly with stakeholders to present findings and recommendations.
Key Skills:
- Ability to understand organizational data and analysis requirements.
- Experience in translating research findings into actionable visual reports.
- Good understanding of direct marketing principles across on and offline channels.
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify trends within data sets.
- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools such as Power BI, Google Data Studio, or Tableau.
- Knowledge of data analysis languages such as SQL, R, or Python.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing database systems and audience analysis.
- Experience in an analyst role interpreting and reporting on campaign data.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and presenting to stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data processing tools.
